The Balcony Garden is the ideal spot for local bird watching.  We live on the 3rd floor of our building, and the balcony faces a lot with overgrown plants.  There are large trees perfect for perching, and small trees that are seasonally filled with treats for the local birds.

I always love seeing the Parrots enjoying a snack in our neighbor’s tree!

Western Blue Birds

This photo is a bit intense! There is a Western Blue Bird in the foreground, a House Finch to its right on the same tree, and a Hawk on the telephone pole in the background.

Cedar Waxwings – A rare visitor!

Hummingbirds hang out by the Balcony Gardens all year long.
