Birds of Southern California: Joshua Tree Edition!

Aaron and I went on a little weekend getaway to Joshua Tree National Park and Yucca Valley in June.  I fell in love with the landscape and the wildlife!

It is incredible to see the diversity of birds in Southern California.  Cali has so many climates and landscapes along with a collection of birds for each one.

Here are some of the beautiful birds I spotted in the backyard of our Airbnb Yucca Valley house and in Joshua Tree National Park:

We also spotted many other animals, including coyotes, lizards and rabbit.
It was so beautiful!
XOXO,
Natalie
